Majerus is a guitarist, composer, songwriter versatile musician, and educator/pedagogue. Majerus holds a Bachelor of Music from Metropolitan State University in the Jazz performance program and a Master of Music from the University of Denver. Majerus has studied with renowned Denver jazz guitarists, Dave Devine and Mike Abbot, classical guitar studies with Alex Komodore, and piano with the legendary Eric Gunnison.
Majerus composes original music for jazz combos and big bands and arranges jazz standards and American folk music for various ensembles.
As a music educator, Majerus has worked with students from 7 years of age to seasoned musicians looking to learn a new instrument or style of guitar. Majerus has maintained a studio of 30 students since 2018.
